Esteban helps businesses develop innovative NLP and ML applications to tackle domain-specific tasks. These include, but are not limited to, profiling, tracking and predicting social media behaviour, semantic similarity search, question answering as well as LLM fine-tuning and integration to improve user experience. Throughout the years, he has worked on several projects both in academia and industry. This allowed him to grow as an applied research scientist with a primary focus on NLP, IR and ML. Additionally, he has developed the ability to define a project agenda and the course of action to meet it, mostly focusing on achieving short-term results. He likes to undertake challenging and cutting-edge projects and participate in dynamic and collaborative environments. He enjoys reading papers, and experimenting with novel technologies and algorithms.
