From Software Engineer to Energy Healer: A Personal Journey

Attendees at Paula's talk in TLR titled: From Software Engineer to Energy Healer: A Personal Journey

Each month, TLR hosts a Thank God It’s Friday (TGIF) event, a chance for members to share their unique stories. The most recent TGIF featured a captivating talk by our dear Paula, who took attendees on her remarkable journey from software engineer to energy healer.

Our story today begins in Romania – where our dear member Paula’s narrative first starts to unwind. Living there, and working as a software engineer, Paula found herself starting to yearn for something more profound.

In 2011, Paula’s life took an unexpected turn when health issues manifested as debilitating back pain. Traditional medical solutions proved ineffective, prompting Paula to explore alternative paths to well-being. The pursuit of a more fulfilling life led her to Spain in 2012, where she encountered meditation and holistic practices that marked the initial steps of her transformation.

From Software Engineer to Energy Healer: Kundalini Activation

Paula’s pivotal moment arrived a few years later, during a course on finding one’s essence and inner power. This marked the beginning of her exploration into Kundalini activation, an ancient practice rooted in Indian spirituality. Paula describes her firsthand experience with Kundalini activation as a revelation – an experience that unlocked dormant energy within her. This powerful awakening became the catalyst for her transition from a software engineer to a practitioner of energy healing.

Holistic Training and Integration

In 2020, Paula deepened her understanding of holistic healing through a year-long course in Integrative Healing. This comprehensive training delved into the interconnected dimensions of physical, mental, and spiritual well-being. Armed with this knowledge, Paula graduated, eager to share her healing abilities with others.

TGIF: Sharing Wisdom and Practices

The recent TGIF event at The Living Room Coworking became a platform for Paula to share not only her personal journey but also to introduce attendees to Kundalini activation and the broader field of energy healing. Through simple practices like deep breathing and connecting with nature, Paula highlighted the accessibility of these transformative techniques in daily life.

Continued Exploration: Paula’s Vision for the Future

As Paula divides her time between Málaga and Lisbon, her journey remains an ongoing exploration. Her work as an energy healer extends beyond personal narratives, aiming to raise awareness about the transformative potential within each individual. Paula envisions creating a supportive community and developing accessible tools, such as a self-healing application, to empower individuals on their unique paths. She also intends to run group healing session events both in person and online.
