TLR’s Latest Exhibition: An Evening of Art and Conversation

5th May 2026

Friday’s at TLR rarely look the same. Sometimes we gather for end of week drinks, other times there’s a talk or a workshop. Occasionally, however, we clear the tables a little earlier than usual and let the space take on a different role.

Recently, that meant opening our doors for the second ever TLR Art Exhibition – a night that brought together not only TLR Family members, but also visitors and artists from outside our vibrant coworking community.

“It was such a nice mix,” said TLR Events Manager Marta Pahino, who helped organise the evening.

“A lot of people came from outside TLR, which made it feel different straight away. That was one of the best parts for me – seeing new faces come in, connect, and experience our fantastic space in their own way.”

For Marta, and many others, it wasn’t just about hanging artwork. It was about what happens when you invite new people, new ideas, and new perspectives into a place that’s usually defined by a different kind of daily rhythm.

Four Artists, Four Perspectives

This time around, the exhibition brought together four artists from different corners of the world, each adding something completely distinct to the walls:

What made it work wasn’t just the variety of styles, but how they sat together in the same space. Pieces that might feel very different on their own created something layered and unexpected when seen side by side.

Work That Connects Back to the Space

One of the most personal contributions came from our own Gabriela Delgado, who is part of the TLR Family coworking community. Her work wasn’t just displayed in the space… it came from it.

“For me, knowing the artist changes the way you look at an art piece,” she said.

“A piece you loved becomes richer. A piece you didn’t understand suddenly makes sense, even if you still don’t like it.”

That idea came to life during the opening itself, where conversations with the artists added new meaning to what was on the walls.

“At the opening, I learned that ‘Bossman’ embodies a strong-willed young man full of hope. And that there is a deep healing process behind Zayin’s work that made me admire his art so much more.”

Gabi’s own piece, Poetry Night at TLR, was directly inspired by a moment in the space:

“I didn’t know Disney’s Sorcerer’s Apprentice came from a poem. Hearing my friend Phillip read Goethe’s ‘Der Zauberlehrling’ filled me with awe,” she said.

“In this piece, I combine handmade lettering with a layout inspired by 1800s illuminated manuscripts. It captures the moment where everything seems possible for the apprentice… full of magic and hope. Much like the magic and hope in our lovely, diverse TLR community.”

And in true TLR fashion, there’s a small detail waiting to be discovered: “Don’t know German? No problem. Hidden in the piece is the translation in English. Look for it next time you see it.”

Raw Expression and Urban Energy

Oleksandr Zabarin, known as Bossman, brought a completely different energy to the exhibition.

Working across painting, mixed media, and recycled materials, his pieces translate urban life into direct visual form, like a raw “copy-paste” of lived experience.

His practice moves between chaos and control, shaped by instinct and constant observation, where every moment becomes potential material.

The result is a playful but intense visual language that reflects everyday urban reality without over-filtering it.

Art in Everyday Spaces

For Zayin Pardo, the setting itself plays a key role in how the work is experienced.

“I think it is a wonderful idea for art to be shared in workplaces like this one, where the mind sometimes needs to rest or be stimulated in a different way.”

That idea lands naturally in a coworking environment. You don’t come here expecting to engage with art but it’s there, quietly shifting your attention.

“For me, art has the ability to open up worlds within everyday spaces, transforming walls into something infinite and offering a place for pause, reflection, and imagination,” said Zayin.

“As an artist, I am inspired above all by emotions, which I try to give shape and presence to in my work. I am also inspired by themes of human identity and social issues. The experimental techniques I use allow me to express all of this through painting. For me, art is a way of sublimating experiences that are part of our society.”

A Night That Felt Like TLR

The opening itself felt relaxed, natural, and very much in line with how things tend to unfold at TLR.

People moved between conversations about work, travel, and life… and then back to the artwork. Some stayed for a quick look, others lingered longer.

“The opening night was one to remember,” Zayin said.

“The warmth of the organisation and the atmosphere they created made the whole evening flow in a very authentic and special way.”

More Than a One-Night Thing

If you missed the opening, nothing is lost.

The exhibition now lives on the walls at TLR, becoming part of the day-to-day environment. You might notice a piece in passing, come back to it later, or see something new depending on the day you’re having.

That’s part of the idea. Not a one-off moment, but something that stays.

The exhibition is open to the public Monday to Friday, from 9am to 6pm, until the end of June. If you’re nearby, come in, take a look, and see how it feels for yourself.
