We’re hitting a major milestone this year – and everyone who has been with us on our journey so far is invited to join the celebration. This November, we’re throwing a four-day anniversary event full of connection, creativity, and community spirit.
This year, The Living Room Coworking (TLR) is turning 10 years old. It’s a milestone that deserves more than just cake and candles (though we will definitely have both!).
From our humble beginnings in 2015 to the thriving international community we are today, the last ten years have been filled with laughter, deep conversations, last-minute lunch plans, business breakthroughs, weekends away, volleyball meets, paddle battles… and always one shared value: connection.
And now, a decade later, it’s time to celebrate the way we do best – together.
This November, TLR will be hosting a four-day celebration at a beautiful finca just outside of Malaga. If you’re a current member, a former member, the +1 of someone who once called TLR home or, indeed, anyone who has been involved with our journey so far, you’re warmly invited to this unforgettable long weekend of joy, memories, and the magic that makes TLR what it is.
Come for One Day or All Four – You Choose
This isn’t your average coworking anniversary party. It’s a four-day festival of reconnection, reflection, and some very solid dancing shoes. You can choose to stay overnight at the finca or simply come along for one (or more) of the days. Sleeping arrangements are basic but comfortable – think shared rooms and bunk beds, camp vibes with a twist of TLR charm.

A Celebration of the Past, and a Toast to the Future
Ben Kolp, Owner and Founder of TLR, said he couldn’t be more excited about the big 1-0.
“When we opened TLR in 2015, we wanted to build more than just a workspace. We wanted to build a home for ideas, a landing pad for newcomers, and a launchpad for anyone ready to grow. What’s happened over the last ten years is more than I could have imagined – so many people from all walks of life, bringing their energy and spirit to the community. This anniversary is a celebration of EVERYONE who made TLR what it is today,” he said.
In classic TLR style, the event won’t be all speeches and slideshow nostalgia. We’re talking jam sessions, treasure hunts, yoga under the trees, hiking adventures, board games, possibly some impromptu dance-offs, and most importantly – shared meals cooked together in a well-equipped communal kitchen.
“We’re inviting not just current TLR members, but everyone who’s ever been a part of this family. And yes, your significant others are welcome too,” Ben adds. “This isn’t just a reunion. It’s a reminder of what’s possible when good people come together with open minds.”
Make It Yours: Bring a Skill, Host an Activity, Be Part of the Magic
In true TLR tradition, this weekend will be member-powered. This event is built by the people, for the people – just like our community dinners, business breakfasts, and poker nights.
We’re calling on all you creatives, teachers, adventurers, and free spirits: if you’ve got a fun or inspiring activity you’d love to host… let us know! From guided meditations to dance classes – your talent and energy are what will make this celebration unforgettable.
“TLR has always been shaped by its members,” Ben says. “We’ve had people share their passions in all kinds of ways over the years – from hosting salsa classes to leading branding bootcamps. It only makes sense that our 10th birthday reflects that same spirit.”
Our Home for the Weekend
The setting couldn’t be more perfect – a sprawling finca set in the green folds of Montes de Málaga, offers the perfect blend of nature, comfort, and community space. There’s room for everyone – whether you’re camping out in a bunk bed, sipping coffee in the courtyard, or watching the sunset after a hike. And yes, there will be WiFi, but we’re hoping you’ll leave your laptop closed for this one.
With the city just a short drive away, it’s the ideal spot for Malaga locals, returning travelers, and digital nomads to reconnect with one another and with the TLR spirit that brought them together in the first place.
